2024 Annual Conference of the Federal Statistical Research Data Centers at the University of Utah

The 2024 Federal Statistical Research Data Center (FSRDC) Annual Research Conference will be taking place on Friday, September 13, 2024, at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, UT. The conference will be a day of concurrent paper sessions and a keynote presentation.

Presentations will be based on current or recent research leveraging the restricted-use confidential data that the Census Bureau and its partner agencies make available through the FSRDC network are welcome. We welcome research topics in the fields of economics, sociology, business and management, demography, health, and developments in data sets. Papers should involve statistical analyses on nonpublic versions of data sets available from the U.S. Census Bureau, the National Center for Health Statistics, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, the Bureau of Economic Analysis, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the National Center for Science and Engineering Statistics, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the FRB Microeconomic Surveys Unit.

Keynote Speaker Bio

Robert Santos

Robert L. Santos

Director Santos’ career spans more than 40 years in survey research, statistical design and analysis, and executive-level management. He previously served for 15 years as vice president and chief methodologist at the Urban Institute and directed its Statistical Methods Group. He was executive vice president and partner of NuStats, a social science research firm in Austin, Texas.
